1. Who we are
FeelIt (“FeelIt”, “we”, “us”) operates the experience marketplace at feelit.ca from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. You can reach us anytime at hello@feelit.ca.
2. What FeelIt is — and is not
FeelIt is a marketplace. The experiences listed on our site (flights, tastings, workshops, outdoor adventures and others) are created, operated and delivered by independent businesses (“Experience Providers”). When you buy a booking or a gift certificate, FeelIt acts as the Experience Provider’s commercial agent: we market the experience, issue the certificate, collect your payment and provide first-line support. The contract for the delivery of the experience itself is formed directly between the participant and the Experience Provider. FeelIt does not operate aircraft, venues, ranges, stables or any other facilities.
3. Accounts
You can buy as a guest — we create an account for your email address so you can manage your orders. You can sign in through secure links we email you, or set a password in your account. Keep your sign-in details (and any certificate codes) confidential: anyone with a certificate code can view and activate that certificate.
4. Prices, payment and taxes
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure hosted page. We never see or store your card number.
- Bookings for a specific date and time are taxed (GST) at the time of purchase. Gift certificates are not taxed at the time of purchase — applicable taxes are accounted for when the certificate is redeemed for the experience.
- Optional add-ons (gift packaging, delivery) are shown with their prices before you pay, and are taxed at purchase.
- You will receive an emailed receipt at the time of sale.
5. Gift certificates
- Gift certificates never expire.
- They are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash and cannot be used to pay a credit account.
- A certificate is redeemed once for the experience stated on it, for the number of guests stated on it.
- The certificate code is how the certificate is used. Treat it like cash: we may honour the first activation of a code without further identity checks.
- The buyer decides when the certificate is sent to the recipient and may correct the recipient’s email address before sending.
- Certificate status can be checked anytime at feelit.ca/activate or by emailing hello@feelit.ca.
6. Bookings and activation
Bookings are made against the Experience Provider’s real availability. Party size limits, minimum ages and other participation requirements are set by the Experience Provider and shown on the experience page. A gift recipient activates their certificate by choosing an available date and time; no account is required for activation. By activating a certificate or attending an experience, the recipient and each attendee agree to these Terms.
7. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. In short: certificates never expire; if an Experience Provider cannot deliver an experience, you get a full refund; statutory cancellation rights under Alberta’s consumer protection law are always preserved.
8. Safety, risk and participation requirements
Some experiences involve inherent physical risk (for example flying, shooting sports, riding, skydiving). Experience Providers set safety rules and may require participants to sign their own waiver or release before taking part, to present ID, or to meet age, health, weight or ability requirements listed on the experience page. You are responsible for making sure every attendee in your party meets the listed requirements. If a participant is turned away for not meeting them, any remedy is governed by the Refund Policy and the Experience Provider’s rules.
9. Our responsibility to you
We stand behind the platform: certificate issuance, payment processing, activation and the accuracy of what we control. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) FeelIt is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Experience Providers in delivering the experiences; and (b) FeelIt’s total liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Protection Act (Alberta) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Your statutory cancellation rights (Alberta)
Alberta’s Internet Sales Contract Regulation gives consumers cancellation rights in certain circumstances — for example, if required pre-purchase information was not disclosed or a copy of the contract was not provided within 15 days. Where such a cancellation right is exercised, we refund all amounts paid within 15 days as the Regulation requires.
11. Reviews and content
If you post a review or other content, it must reflect your genuine experience. Disclose any material connection to the Experience Provider (for example, if you received a discount in exchange for the review). You grant FeelIt a non-exclusive licence to display the content on the marketplace. We may remove content that is unlawful, fake or unrelated to a real purchase.
12. Acceptable use
- No fraudulent purchases, invalid payment methods or abuse of certificate codes.
- No scraping, resale or commercial exploitation of the marketplace without our consent.
- No interfering with the operation or security of the site.
13. Privacy
How we handle personal information — including the recipient’s details a buyer shares with us — is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page; changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Alberta, subject to any right you may have under applicable consumer protection law to bring proceedings in another forum.
